The overall average age of people in developed countries such as USA, Europe, Japan and Australia is getting older.  
  Couples in developed countries are having fewer babies and as a result not matching the rate required to replace people who are old or who have passed. As a result, these developed countries are experiencing significant changes in their demographics. Some towns are dying completely, while the strain on health services is increasing.
