For all the progress made in developed countries concerning equality of rights and non-discrimination, racism and intimidation are still alive and well.
Most school children can recount at least one episode of bullying and intimidation by other children. Most people living in cultural minorities within urban cities can also testify to at least a few times in their life when someone has been racist to them.
Yet discrimination is not always about race. Women, especially continue to experience various forms of gender discrimination within society.
