Since early tribal settlements of human
beings, there is evidence in the belief and practice of magic- that certain
words, sounds, symbols and objects had certain supernatural powers.
Rightly, or wrongly, certain superstitions underpin the beliefs of almost every
human being on the planet. In a historical context, the theoretical answer to
the meaning of everything (ALL) in a variety of languages has always carried a
mystical aura.
Some cultures still maintain to this day that the answer to such questions are
impossible to know, because to know such an answer would only rest in the hands
of a higher power, than a human. To even consider it possible for a human to
“know ALL” is considered a blasphemy against the higher power of
the god or gods.
Other ancient cultures and belief systems claim that only at the “end of
time” will such an answer be given. For example, the Christian and Judaic
religions contain in their belief system that at the “end of time”,
a Judgment time will occur, a Messiah will come and “ALL will be
revealed”.
Because the meaning of ALL is chained to such cultural and religious taboos, it
makes any meaningful discussion on the meaning of ALL very difficult.
Moving beyond the mythology to a criteria for meaning
While science and religion are both in unison on the impossibility of the quest
to understand the meaning of all, it is possible to consider what theoretically
should be the absolute minimum criteria any meaning should be able to answer
simultaneously.
The reason for existence– the meaning of ALL should answer perfectly the
meaning for existence. As existence of everything is interchangeable with the
concept of ALL, the meaning of existence should naturally mean the same thing
as ALL.
The process of creation– the meaning of ALL should answer perfectly the
process of creation and existence. It should be completely consistent with the
inherent creation of the universe and everything within it.
The rules of existence– the meaning of ALL must answer perfectly and be
perfectly aligned with the rules of existence. The meaning of all should be
able to encompass all rules and all relationships and give a perfect deeper
meaning for rules itself.
The awareness of all past present existence-the meaning of ALL must answer
perfectly the awareness of all past and present existence. It should provide a
complete and perfect meaning for the relationship between existence and
non-existence, real and non real.
The condition of future existence– finally the meaning of ALL must answer
perfectly the condition of future existence, beyond just mechanics, but the
absolute nature of future existence.
Here is a theoretical meaning of A.L.L. which meets all six criteria:
the prime reason for existence
the order of creation
the rules of existence
Awareness of existence
Unique perspective (paradox) of existence
Literal meaning of A.L.L.
Awareness Loves Life (A.L.L.) is an active statement of creation, rather than a
passive statement. It is defined from the perspective of the absolute.
In contrast, the human experience is always from within the dream, looking out
(LLA).
After everything that is written in this section, there will be many readers
still skeptical on just how simple the definition AWARENESS LOVES LIFE is to
the meaning of ALL.
For these people, the principle conflict will be around how something so
seemingly complex and unobtainable could in reality be so simple? The
simplicity of the answer (Awareness Loves Life) itself is probably the biggest
contributor to its lack of credibility.
The need for universe (dream) to be perfect
The most appropriate way to support why such a simple answer as Awareness Loves
Life could be the valid meaning of ALL is refer back to the beginning of this
book and the concept of creation.
Existence depends upon the dream of the dreamer being perfect. An imperfect
thought would risk collapse and the collapse of all existence.
To create a perfect thought is to create the simplest most perfect thought. At
the heart of existence are the concepts of both simplicity and perfection.
The meaning of ALL should be simple
It makes sense then that if existence must be perfectly simple then the meaning
of ALL should likewise be perfectly simple.
