At the crossover of the 20th Century into the 21st century has seen a steady growth of awareness back to religious and metaphysical concepts.
A growth in old metaphysical understandings has happened in spite of the best efforts of conservative rationalists.
Religions comeback and in some cases fundamentalist has been attributed to a number of factors including disenfranchisement, radicalism and a reaction to three decades of mass consumerism.
Whatever the combination of causes, spirituality has re-emerged in a huge way and is only expected to grow.
