Universal religious concept- the cross

| The symbol of the cross appears in more than a dozen ancient religions pre-dating christianity. At the time of the uprisings in Judea and the destruction of Rome in 70 CE, the Egyptian cross symbol of the Ankh was known throughout the ancient world as the symbol for death and resurrection, the symbol of eternal life and of one dying to save us. | ||
