PAST moment |
• |
A moment is a period of time defined not only by the period but by the events that take place within this context. |
• |
A PAST moment is any and all periods of time that were NOW moments, but are no longer. Objects have moved, seasons have changed. People have grown old and died. |
• |
A PAST moment is not a FUTURE moment that did not become a NOW moment. Only NOW moments can be considered PAST moments once they are no longer NOW. |

PSYMEM |
• |
PSYMEM is the unique name given to the ability of the PSY (human mind) to remember and recall a thought/idea in the context of a PAST moment. |
• |
The human brain does not record NOW moments as experienced by a person, but PSY STATES which are reflected in PSYSETs, PSYVIEW, PSYSENSE and PSYVIRs. A PSYMEM is an approximate reconstruction of a PSYSTATE . |
• |
A reconstruction of a PSYSTATE (PSYMEM) will differ to the extent that the present STATE and time from the event differ as present state of PSY (mind) influences the approximate reconstruction of events. |
• |
PSYMEM while alive can never be regarded as perfect, accurate or consistent, but only as a guide of the likely chain of events as that might have happened. |
|
|
|
| |
PSYMEM and PSY |
• |
PSYMEM is dependent upon the skills and ability of the PSY (human mind), but not limited to the unique human PSY of an individual human physical brain and system. |
• |
A PSY may be able to recall events accurately in spite of the fact of never having participated in the event. |
• |
A PSY (human mind) may be able to communicate at a level of clarity that should be impossible due to the physical limitation of the individuals state. |
• |
All PSYMEM happens because of PSY and because of the connection of PSY. |
|
|
|
| |
PSYMEM and brain |
• |
PSYMEM is an independent and unique memory of events that is both a product and influence because of brain but also has its own separate existence. |
• |
Once created, a unique moment can never be uncreated or forgotten. |
• |
The existence of PSYMEM is not dependent on brain, except in the context of the unique perspectives of PSY and processing limitations during life. |
• |
At the process of death, both PSY and PSYMEM are released from the filtered limitations of brain. |
|
|
|
| |
PSYMEM and PSYCOG |
• |
PSYMEM (memory recall) is an enabler to PSYCOG (thinking in context). In order to think in context, you need to be able to name and classify things by some means (MEANING). |
• |
However, a person may have extremely high PSYMEM physical skills while still exhibiting average or even very poor PSYCOG (contextual thinking) skills. In others, the ability to recall events does not imply a person will then have similar cognitive abilities (contextual thinking). |
• |
Tests of pattern recognition (as often used in IQ tests) should never be considered a valid indicator of contextual thinking/creative thinking abilities. |
