Types of work associations
 
     
  A work association is defined as a body of people officially recognized in some legal way. A corporate can be a partnership, a limited liability company, a public company and even a trust.  
  An work association record is considered unique and different from that of an individual worker or group of persons as:  
  A WORK ASSOCIATION reflects an object that is recognized by an approprate government authority as having some formal legal existence, either through a business certificate, a charter or some other legal instrument.  
  While any body of people recognised in some was a having some formal legal existence may be recorded as a corporate, not every corporate is the same.  
21.23.1 Legal status of different work associations  
  Depending upon the nature of the corporate, its legal status may be described as an association, a trading name (sole trader), or even a public company. This is what is meant by the legal status of a work association.  
  There are eleven (11) types of corporate legal status identified:

1. Association A body formed for non profit
2.Company-Public Listed A company registered with a stock exchange issuing public script
3.Company-Pty Ltd Limited liability corporation
4.Government-Federal Federal government and/or department
5.Government-State State government and/or department
6.Government-Local Local government and/or department
7.Statutory Authority Legislated authority such as a public utility
8.Trading Name- sole trader Sole trader
9.Trust-General Member owned legal body
10.Trust-Retirement Member owned legal body- specifically retirement
11.Trading Name- partnership Partnership
 
21.23.2 Association status of different work associations  
  In addition, an association based on its geographic location may be the Head Office, or a subsidiary of a larger association of work.  
 
Corporate type Description
1. Head Office The head office of the corporate
2.Group Office An office designated as a grouphead office: may be at the same location as the head office.
3.State Office An office recognised as the corporates head office within a particular state.
4.Division Office An office designated as a Division head office: may be at the same location as the head office.
5.Unit Office A business unit of a Division
