The religious beliefs of men and women towards their religion deserve the highest respect and care whenever discussing history, models of belief and faith.
Religion remains a foundation model for most societies and core belief system for many men and women-providing a narrative and context for their place in the world, a set of values and meaning and some guide as to their future.
Whether or not a religious model of belief is able to answer all the modern challenges presented by science or logic, so strongly do many men and women feel towards their faith that any deviation of discussion --even a few words--may cause them to dismiss totally any discussion of history, of the origin of certain beliefs and motives.
As a result, it is sometimes impossible to have an open discussion with many individuals simply because they hold their beliefs so strong that not a single belief, nor word, nor idea is permitted to be discussed in terms of real history.
Yet without reconciliation of religion as to its origins and common connections, without reasonable investigation of the historical facts behind sacred texts, many of the problems of the world are also impossible to address.
